This is not a kindle version - this is a misrepresentation. The original has illustrations. This one does not. This version without illustrations is a travesty. And that's without commenting on the inappropriate capitalisation of scientific names.Shame on the publishers for calling this a "kindle version" and SHAME on Amazon for selling it.I will not buy anything from the publishers again until they have withdrawn this and replaced it with a true kindle version - or included a statement making it clear that the kindle "version" is a sad, pale, inaccurate reflection of the dead tree version.And Amazon - lift your game. Don't encourage this sort of shoddy work. It reflects very, very badly on the credibility of the kindle.
FYI, the Kindle edition does not come with illustrations - very disappointing. It is unclear since they do indicate the illustrator's name, but the fact is no illustrations come with the Kindle Edition. Personally I think this was a very bad customer experience.
Me and my son are both very interested in spiders, especially my son, and this book was wonderful. Well written and so informative. It was very educational, but interesting and kept oyur attention at the same time. Would definitely recommend this book!
